I created Project A.S.H.A. because I saw how often human trafficking and youth safety are talked about after harm happens, instead of before. Young people are increasingly vulnerable to exploitation both online and in person, yet conversations around digital grooming, manipulation, coercion, and recognizing unsafe situations are still far too limited. I care deeply about creating stronger conversations around the safety of women and girls and the vulnerabilities they face. Youth are some of the most powerful changemakers in the world, and through Project A.S.H.A., we are creating a movement where young people speak up, educate, advocate, and take action. Project A.S.H.A. is on the path to becoming the largest youth-led human trafficking prevention initiative, making youth empowerment the foundation of a safer future.
